February 2018 — Sierra Logistics purchases 11,500sqft of warehouse space in Detroit Metro Airport corridor.

The new space is conveniently located in the Detroit Metro Airport corridor.  To add to our existing expediting, white glove, home delivery and trade-show setup services, this investment will allow us to extend our portfolio of “solutions driven” services to our customers, with the addition of: cross-docking, warehousing, and storage, picking and packaging, fulfillment for OEM’s and E-commerce, and more! The new space will enable us to provide warehousing, either temporarily or long-term, for customers who frequently ship via air freight – in or out of Detroit. Clients who use our trade show setup services will also be happy to hear that we can now store their trade show equipment for them, to deliver and setup at a moments notice.

The central and popular location will help to improve our efficiency and cost competitiveness with partners from all over the United States, shipping in or out of Michigan and surrounding areas.

The space has 4 loading docks, 11,500sqft of storage space, is secured and alarmed – ready for TSA/Bonding. Sierra Logistics corporate offices and dispatch operations will also be relocated to this facility. This will allow us to consolidate our operations, and further streamline our services – working in tandem with customers and partners from around the globe.
